The North Central Thunder basketball team (Eureka, SD), was overwhelmed 53-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD)
The Trojans now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roncalli for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Faulkton will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 58-34 non-league win over Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-1.
The Thunder (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Leola/Frederick trounced Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD), 45-21, in a league battle.
