The Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) basketball crushed the host Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA), 46-20 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Dons go into the Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Del Mar walloped Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA), 61-12, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to San Lorenzo Valley for a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, January 9. Harbor will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 72-36 league loss to Aptos (Aptos, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-10.
