In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Secaucus Patriots basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Hackensack Comets.
In their next game, the Patriots meet the Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) in a North Jersey - Meadowlands B match, on Monday, January 8. Secaucus will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 44-42 league loss to Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ).
With the defeat, Hackensack moves to 2-7 on the year. The Comets travel to Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, January 6. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-8. Manchester Regional lost 40-21 in their recent league match against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ)
