Yonkers Montessori Academy Eagles (Yonkers, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yonkers Montessori Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a Section 1 Conference 3C bout on Monday, January 8. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Hastings won 57-36 in their recent non-league bout against The Leffell School (Hartsdale, NY)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Hamilton Raiders (Elmsford, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Haldane will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
