Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks (Chattanooga, TN), 64-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 80-274 on the season. The travel to TPLS Christian Academy (Richmond, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-14. TPLS Christian Academy lost 84-33 in their recent non-league bout against NC GBB Academy National (Durham, NC)

Next up, the Hawks play the AZ Compass Prep National Dragons (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 7. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 49-45 non-league win over Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).
