Mississippi High School Basketball - Hickory Flat knocked off by Nettleton

The Nettleton Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Hickory Flat Rebels to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen for a 3A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Nettleton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-17 league loss to East Webster (Maben, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-12.
The Rebels (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Mountain (Blue Mountain, MS). The Cougars enter the 1A Region 3 contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Blue Mountain ran past Walnut (Walnut, MS), 57-43, in a non-league contest.
