The Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ), 49-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Red Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bluejays go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Middlesex went down by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ), 82-57, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Tuesday, January 9. Old Bridge will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
