The Highlanders now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a Mountain State battle on Wednesday, January 10. Huntington will battle a Patriots team coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 8-2.

The Flying Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against PikeView (Princeton, WV). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record.
