With the victory, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout, on Friday, January 12. Ignacio will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
