Minnesota High School Basketball - Red Wing can't hold off Kasson-Mantorville

The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Red Wing Wingers to 58 in the Komets league victory on Saturday.
The Komets now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stewartville for a AAA Section 1 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Kasson-Mantorville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-73 non-league loss to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.
The Wingers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Austin (Austin, MN). The Packers come into the AAA Section 1 contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Austin edged Mankato West (Mankato, MN), 85-60, in a non-league contest.
