The Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND), 57-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Enderlin (Enderlin, ND). The Eagles go into the B District 1 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Enderlin went down by LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND), 55-17, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oakes for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 57-26 non-league win over Napoleon (Napoleon, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-1.
