Ohio High School Basketball - Tuscarawas Valley nudges Marlington

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) basketball squad nipped the visiting Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), by a margin of 36-31.

The Trojans (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Little Muskies go into the non-league outing with a 15-11 record. In their last outing, John Glenn got by Crooksville (Crooksville, OH), 52-19, in a league outing.

The Dukes now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host West Branch for a Eastern Buckeye outing on Wednesday, January 10. Marlington will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.
