New York High School Basketball - Niagara-Wheatfield topples Mount St. Mary Academy

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Thunder (Kenmore, NY), by a margin of 45-29.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Lions go into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier outing with a 3-4 record.
The Thunder now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo Seminary for a Monsignor Martin outing on Wednesday, January 10. Mount St. Mary Academy will clash with a Red-Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 37-34 non-league win over New Life Christian (Olean, NY). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
