The Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ) basketball felled the host Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ), 51-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Villagers (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record.
The Wolverines now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Pennsville Memorial for a Tri-County - Diamond test on Monday, January 8. Woodstown will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 37-20 non-league loss to Delsea (Franklinville, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
