With the victory, Villa Maria Academy improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Sacred Heart Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA) to confront the Lions in a Catholic Academies challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
