The Warren County Eagles basketball team (Warrenton, NC), was overwhelmed 60-11 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC)

The Vipers now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.F. Webb for a 2A/3A Northern Lakes battle on Friday, January 12. Vance County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 42-28 league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers come into the 1A Tar Roanoke battle with a 1-8 record.
