High School Ice Hockey - Frederick Gunn drops to Varsity Opponent

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Varsity Opponent ice hockey team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders.

The (16-39) will now prepare for their test against Clay (Oregon, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Clay held off Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH), 9-1, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Highlanders encounter the Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league test, on Sunday, January 7. Frederick Gunn will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 8-6 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA).
