Evergreen Lutheran Eagles (Tacoma, WA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Evergreen Lutheran upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Muckleshoot Tribal (Auburn, WA) to play the Kings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Kings come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Lions play the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Bellarmine Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA).
