The Charlotte Latin Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders to 47 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Day for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Charlotte Latin will meet a Chargers team coming off a 65-56 non-league win over Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 6-2.

The Highlanders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC). The Cardinals enter the contest with a 1-3 record.
