The Mineral County Serpents basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wells Leopards to 18 in the Serpents non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Serpents now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Mineral County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-34 non-league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

The Leopards (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Non JV Opponent (, ). The go into the non-league bout with a 64-90 record.
