In Saturday's non-league game, the Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX) soccer squad tipped the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a final score of 2-1.
The Ganders (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Brazoswood was edged by Paetow (Katy, TX), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Tornadoes now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chavez for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. Ball will confront a Lobos team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 2-1.
