In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Paetow Panthers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Brazoswood Buccaneers.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Morton Ranch (Katy, TX). The Mavericks come into the 6A Region 3 District 19 battle with a 3-1 record.
The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lee (Baytown, TX). The Ganders come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Lee nudged Ball (Galveston, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
