The Rangers now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10. Rincon/University will meet a Nighthawks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Catalina drops to 4-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to San Miguel (Tucson, AZ) to meet the Vipers in a 3A South test on Monday, January 8. The Vipers come into the test with a record of 2-2. San Miguel won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ)
