Next, the Wolverines confront the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a Bay Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Deer Valley will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Vintage (Napa, CA).

The Bruins now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a TCAL - Stone challenge on Tuesday, January 9. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
