The Hawks now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hamshire-Fannett for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Hardin-Jefferson will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Liberty drops to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Dayton (Dayton, TX) to meet the Broncos in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 3-2. Dayton won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Brazosport (Freeport, TX)
