Next, the Vikings confront the Kealakehe Waveriders (Kailua-Kona, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Hilo will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Waveriders enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI).

The Wildcats now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hawaii Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. Konawaena will confront a Ka Makani team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Makua Lani Christian (Holualoa, HI). The Ka Makani record now stands at 2-2.
