The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) and the visiting Bath Fighting Bees (Bath, MI), observed Fulton's basketball team overcome Bath by a margin of 60-48.

The Pirates (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Mid-State challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles defeated Ashley (Ashley, MI), 50-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Bees battle the Dansville Aggies (Dansville, MI) in a Central Michigan challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Bath will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Napoleon (Napoleon, MI).
