The Berwick Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Opelousas Catholic Vikings to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they host Kaplan for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Berwick will play a Pirates team coming off a 54-30 non-league loss to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-24.

With the loss, Opelousas Catholic falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host Basile (Basile, LA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 6-20. Basile lost 53-32 in their recent non-league game against Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA)
