In Monday's league test, the Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) basketball squad knocked off the host Boothbay Seahawks (Boothbay Harbor, ME), by a score of 47-27.

Next, the Ramblers encounter the Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) in a C South test, on Wednesday, January 8. Winthrop will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Roadrunners come into the test with a 10-0 record after their 78-60 non-league win over Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME).

The Seahawks (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Cougars come into the C South test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Dirigo was knocked off by Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 63-50, in a non-league test.
