In Monday's non-league contest, the host Carrollton Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 60-40 triumph over the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons.
The Cavaliers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Bay City Western was toppled by North Branch (North Branch, MI), 51-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons confront the Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
