With the victory, Catawba Ridge advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Copperheads travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 8-4. South Point won 82-67 in their recent league match against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irmo for a AAAAA Region 4 match on Friday, January 10. Lexington will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 79-52 non-league win over Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-4.
