The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) and the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA), observed Plainview's basketball team knock off Holy Savior Menard by a score of 86-74.
The Hornets (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, LaSalle dropped by Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA), 53-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Holy Savior Menard will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 26-9 record after their 61-34 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA).
