The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sevastopol Pioneers (Sturgeon Bay, WI) and the host Suring Eagles (Suring, WI), observed Sevastopol's basketball team overcome Suring by a margin of 47-37.

The Pioneers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kewaunee (Kewaunee, WI). The Storm come into the Packerland challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Kewaunee defeated Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI), 74-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Coleman Cougars (Coleman, WI) in a Marinette & Oconto challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Suring will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 81-52 non-league loss to Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI).
