Colorado High School Basketball - Denver South holds off Chaparral

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Denver South Ravens basketball team scored a close 64-58 triumph over the Chaparral Wolverines.

The Ravens (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Fountain-Fort Carson was tipped by Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO), 43-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Eaglecrest Raptors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Raptors go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 69-41 non-league win over Rangeview (Aurora, CO).
