In Monday's non-league contest, the host Tolman Tigers basketball team scored a good 64-44 triumph over the Classical Purple.
The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, North Providence topped St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Purple confront the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Classical will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI).
