Rhode Island High School Basketball - Coventry overwhelms St. Raphael Academy

The Coventry Oakers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host St. Raphael Academy Saints to 32 in the Oakers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Oakers now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hope for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Coventry will confront a Blue Wave team coming off a 71-39 non-league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, St. Raphael Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-2.
