The Almont Raiders basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Parkway Christian Eagles to 29 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Imlay City for a Blue Water Area game on Thursday, January 9. Almont will confront a Spartans team coming off a 55-28 non-league loss to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Parkway Christian falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Michigan Independent - Red game on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-2.
