The Canistota Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Platte/Geddes Black Panthers to 18 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Alcester-Hudson for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Canistota will confront a Cubs team coming off a 58-24 league loss to Avon (Avon, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 1-6.
