In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Evangelical Christian Eagles basketball team scored a big 59-36 win over the Cordova Wolves.
The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Power Center Academy (Memphis, TN). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Power Center Academy was trounced by Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 58-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Bartlett Panthers (Bartlett, TN) in a 4A District 15 contest, on Friday, January 10. Cordova will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 71-39 league win over Houston (Germantown, TN).
