In Monday's non-league contest, the host Osseo-Fairchild Thunder basketball team scored a close 49-46 triumph over the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves.
The Thunder (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record.
In their next game, the Wolves confront the Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix contest, on Thursday, January 9. Elmwood/Plum City will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Mounders go into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).
