In Monday's non-league test, the Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen (Garland, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Victory Baptist Academy Patriots (Weatherford, TX), by a final score of 55-14.

Next, the Swordsmen clash with the Ovilla Christian Eagles (Red Oak, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 3 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Garland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 58-34 non-league win over Calvary Academy (Denton, TX).
