The Plainview Hornets ran past the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles basketball team by a margin of 61-53 in Monday's non-league contest.
The Hornets (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, LaSalle topped Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA), 53-14, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Holy Savior Menard will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 10-14 record after their 61-34 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA).
