In Monday's non-league contest, the host Osceola Chieftains basketball team scored a big 50-27 triumph over the Unity Eagles.

The Chieftains (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Blackhawks go into the Middle Border contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Baldwin-Woodville smashed Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI), 38-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Siren Dragons (Siren, WI) in a Lakeland - West contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Unity will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 69-39 non-league win over Drummond (Drummond, WI).
