The Red Springs Red Devils basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Pender Patriots to 30 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
The Red Devils now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont for a 2A Southeastern game on Tuesday, January 7. Red Springs will confront a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Pender falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to confront the Wolfpack in a 1A/2A Waccamaw game on Friday, January 10. The Wolfpack go into the game with a record of 1-10. Whiteville lost 71-41 in their recent non-league game against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)
