Ohio High School Basketball - Pymatuning Valley triumphant over St. John

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) and the host St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), observed Pymatuning Valley's basketball team overwhelm St. John by a score of 63-27.

The Lakers (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chalker (Southington, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record.

In their next game, the Fighting Herald encounter the Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH) in a Northeastern - Stars challenge, on Thursday, January 9. St. John will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 52-22 non-league loss to Hubbard (Hubbard, OH).
