Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV), 24-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Coronado advances its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars host Durango (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Trailblazers in a 4A Desert battle on Thursday, January 9. The Trailblazers go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Durango lost 33-6 in their recent league battle against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Basic for a 5A Southern battle on Wednesday, January 8. Centennial will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 46-6 non-league win over Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Wolves record now stands at 7-4.
