The Giddings Buffaloes soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Rudder Rangers to 2 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Monday.
The Buffaloes now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Del Valle for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Giddings will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Rudder moves to 2-1 on the year. The Rangers travel to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Madisonville won 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX)
