In Monday's non-league test, the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), by a final score of 48-33.
Next, the Devildogs clash with the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 8. Travelers Rest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Blue Flame come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 31-20 non-league win over Blue Ridge (Greer, SC).
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Palmetto overcame Crescent (Iva, SC), 58-21, in a non-league test.
