In Monday's non-league contest, the host Lost River Raiders basketball team scored a big 53-22 triumph over the Butte Valley Bulldogs.
The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Etna (Etna, CA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Etna smashed Plumas Charter (Quincy, CA), 40-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Butte Valley will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 36-33 non-league win over Lassen (Susanville, CA).
