Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA) and the host Knight Hawks (Palmdale, CA), saw The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's soccer squad hold off Knight by a count of 2-1.

The Griffins (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA). The Crusaders enter the Heritage battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, St. Monica Academy was edged by Atascadero (Atascadero, CA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) in a Golden battle, on Wednesday, January 15. Knight will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Banning (Banning, CA).
